SEVENTEEN's JEONGHAN X JOSHUA sell 656K on day one, a K-pop unit record

According to Hanteo Chart, JEONGHAN X JOSHUA's first mini album "DREAMSCAPE" sold 656,011 copies on October 19, its release day. That is the highest first-day figure ever for a K-pop unit album, and it topped Hanteo Chart's daily album ranking. The album reached No. 1 on China's QQ Music daily digital bestseller album chart and earned double gold certification after passing 500,000 yuan in sales about three hours after release. It also hit No. 1 on Japan's LINE MUSIC real-time album chart and on iTunes Top Albums charts in six countries and regions. The title track "12 o'clock" reached No. 2 on the Bugs real-time chart in Korea, No. 8 on LINE MUSIC's real-time new song chart and No. 9 on its overall song chart in Japan, and entered iTunes Top Songs charts in 13 countries and regions, including Singapore, the Philippines and Argentina. A challenge video first posted on Instagram on October 12 passed 210 million views in about a week.

Why it matters — JEONGHAN X JOSHUA perform the new song on Mnet's "M Countdown" on October 22. From October 30 to November 1 they hold the solo concert "JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING]" at Inspire Arena in Incheon. The Incheon shows sold out on the day of the fan club presale, and the duo will then perform in six more cities, including overseas.
