PLAVE go EDM for the first time with "Star Trace"

Virtual idol group PLAVE released their fifth mini album, HYPERDRIVE, on October 12 at 6 PM KST, six months after Caligo Pt.2 in April. The title track "Star Trace" is PLAVE's first EDM-based dance-pop song. The five tracks also include the bossa nova "GGUN", the acoustic rock song "Sweet Rain", the pop track "The Answer Is Yes" and the R&B-pop "Rewind".

Why it matters — The agency describes the album as a wide range of genres — EDM dance-pop, bossa nova, rock, pop and R&B-pop — done in PLAVE's own colour, and calls this comeback the start of a new musical chapter.
